The Alerris tab, though outstanding ($12.50), is a low-priority as investigation revealed only that the haunting in their attic could not be removed by any means available to my firm, or to anyone known to me; unable even to make a referral, they question whether they should pay anything at all, on the basis that any reasonable person could have discerned that the attic was haunted. I question this, if only because the howling noise is often subtle enough to sound like wind, though the billowing of the daughter's diary to specific pages speaks convincingly to spectral interference. Recommend accepting payment should they choose to remit it, but recommend against pursuing it. Do not follow up, as it would be taken as an attempt to collect, even though it would actually be a routine check-in. 

The Akavian case was closed without incident. The "creature", such as it was, turned out to be a commonplace nightmare projection, probably the personified stress of the child, Rudy, who may or may not have known that he was in error when he blamed the new baby. [In error? The baby caused the stress!  -VK] The invoice was sent as a formality, as payment was remitted on the spot. -JK.I
